Block Notes, created by Bruno Munari for Edizioni Corraini, is a series of projects conceived to stimulate a creative outcome: a collection of ideas and examples of artistic production as input for collective “games for the intellect”. The series is recognizable by its size and small holes on the cover (in different positions and shapes) that invite you to nose around inside.
FLIGHT OF FANCY
The holes on the cover act as mask for carrying on with the game, invent new shapes and create new captions.
ALLA FACCIA!
How to construct countless faces with completely different features using different types of ’signs’.
LOVE AND KISSES
Postcards ‘personalised’ by cutting, adding or reconstructing. These are accompanied by amusing comments in the margin.

聽說……也是人，但很少人見過她，性格不詳，身份不詳，只知她喜歡寫寫畫畫，但沒多少人看過。
聽說有一個地方，流傳著很多聽說的故事。
可是直到現在，還是沒有人真正聽過，因為那些故事是看的。
因為這些都是聽說的故事，所以聽說沒有人相信，好像「黑仔」和「符碌」的故事、將軍與影子的故事、會唸詩又唸不出詩來的詩人故事、會變大變小的房子的故事、未有世界以前的故事、還有很多很多的故事，雖然那些聽說全都是真實的。
I was told that there is a place where lots of stories could be heard .But until now , no one had every heard of any of them because they are so stories to be seen
Since those stories are to be told , no one has every believed in any of them , not even the story of Junior Black and Fu Luk ; General and Shadow ;; Mr Good Man ; a poet who doesn’t know how to read a poem ; a house that can expand and shrink ;stories before the world exists; and many more untold but real stories .
